So I'm going to give a four because I'm sick so I'm not sure if my taste buds are 100%. I just ordered delivery and they delivered within 30 min. According to Yelp, in about 1.2 miles away and I called I my order around 12:30pm on a Monday. I ordered a large shrimp with lobster sauce and a large hot and sour soup (I had hungry eyes and really just wanted soup, but delivery minimum order is $10). Both tasted great and was steaming when I opened the packages. Lots of shrimp in the shrimp with lobster sauce and the hot and sour soup was perfect for my raw throat from all the coughing.Delivery device: 5 starsFood taste: 4 stars (might be 3 or 5 but I don't trust my taste buds right now)Delivered hot: 5 stars (steaming)Definitely will order again from this place.

Whenever I'm in the area, I stop by for their awesome Orange Chicken. I LOVE IT! It's heavenly. The owners are super nice and they try to accomodate to your needs. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who's around this area!

This is a really good little Chinese take away cafe. The best thing about this emporium is the lunch time specials. Last year within 10 days I think I literally tried the whole lunch time special menu. I think the most you pay is $6 for a dish which comes in a tray with rice and spring roll. The foods always hot and the portions are great for the price you pay. The staff are really polite also with smiles all around! Parking can be a pain but I find it easier to walk!Pros - portions- prices - lunch specialsCons - parking

The food isn't good. It's edible but not anything to seek out beyond fuel. The beef friend rice tasted like beef, rice, and soy sauce because that's about all that was in it. I saw about 5 peas total in our medium portion of it.The sweet and sour pork was solidly average. Not the worse, not the best. The sauce wasn't well distributed over the pork pieces, almost like they just plopped them down in a puddle. I had to roll them around a bit to get any sauce. The wonton soup was good, but that may have just been in comparison. I appreciated something that wasn't grease laden, and there were 5 won tons in a 16oz order which makes it enough to share as a side or have alone as a dish. The portions are large especially for the price, and the containers are reusable. Delivery took about an hour, so nothing exceptional in either direction.

This is the most delicious chinese fast food restaurant Ive ever experienced. There delivery is super fast. The meals come in these cute black trays with lids that can be reused as tupperware. Which is another extra bonus. There fried dumplings and the sauce is awesome. I always get way too much food but that way it gives me lunch and dinner for the next day or two. Every item that I have tried, is worth the trip or call to Chinese Cafe.

This place tastes the just like some of the cheap and nasty Chinese food places that you find in many indoor malls. The reason is probably because it comes from the same package. Tastes like bad Chinese fast food and yes it is cheap like Chinese fast food always is. I really don't understand why anyone would give this place 5 or even 4 stars unless they have never had good Chinese food. Panda Express is 10 times better than this place, if you want cheap Chinese food that would be a much better option.

Small Chinese place, almost looks like a diner setting, with decent prices and portions. Ive been ordering carry out here for years.Everyone is very friendly, the food is cooked fast and good. You probably won't see this on a top ten list of Chinese establishments. Its fast food. whaddya expect? One of my favorites is a stir fried fish that is really good! I like the hot sour soup there.Pros: Very nice folks, very good prices, pretty good food....Cons: This doesn't stop me at all, but I have to include it to be fair:One thing I saw that concerned me is a health dept notice ( and no rating card ) that the establishment had some health dept inspection issue. Surprises me because the place looks very clean and well managed. I am guessing whatever the issue it was resolved, and a high rating will be forthcoming.

I always go for the lunch special, can't really comment beyond that -- but they are lightning quick, the food is good, and HUGE portions (I save half for dinner) -- entree, rice, a spring roll and soda for $5.40 including tax? Yes please.

Its my fault I am ignorant and I totally thought that Egg Foo Young was some type of egg noodle dish (dont know y) was was unpleasantly surprised when I found out it was some egg omelette meal. I was confused, my taste buds were mad at me cus I prepared them for an egg noodle dish with shrimp and veggies and instead got this soup and omelette creation. I didnt know how to eat it and I poured the soup on the omelette making it soggy and gross. It was just an ALL bad meal. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dnt order the egg foo young if you think its noodles. I'm sure I am not the only ignorant person in these streets. But other than that everything was meh!Large cheap portion sizes +Kinda slow delivery (approx 35-45 mins) -Min delivery 10 +Flavors aren't memorable -Not as great as other Chines places in Pasadena -

Excellent prices, lightining fast delivery (feels like food is at my house right after I hang up almost). Ordering was okay before when it was an asian lady with a thick accent...i'd be able to order but I couldn't ask for substition, inclusions or special omissions. Now I think they have their daughter take orders now and her English is excellent so it's much easier to ask for side things. For example, I like to get my stuff with no fat and they actually do it! before I used to ask for this feature, the bottom of my fried rice would be slightly oily (not crazy but still oily) and after I ask for it, the plate is totally oil-free. I get my soups and other foods oil free too now and they taste just as good. Basically, these guys ARE AWESOME!!!! DELIVERY IS FREE! And the delivery is so organized! it's not in a bag where everything can leak...it's sturdy, in almost reusable plastic tupperwear, and it's always delicious. highly highly recommend for good price good ...?
